Presented by Niki Nurhayati, our Art Jam Sessions this time is covering a legendary Impressionism artist Oscar-Claude Monet, a painter from French. His works are strong in capturing light and natural forms. Many of notable artists are very highly influenced by Monet.
Monet was also famous with his Water Lily series, a 250 series of painting capturing many angle, mood and shape of water lily pond. The paintings show Monet’s flower garden at his home in Giverny, which was the main focus of Monet’s artistic production during the last 30 years of his life. Even after he suffered from cataracts, he still painted many Water Lily paintings.
